An Act relating to broadcasting services, data casting services and online services. The Amendment Act specifically regulates the content of websites that are administered by content service providers. The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) is the regulatory body for the purposes of the Act.
Content service providers have a responsibility to remove or prevent access to prohibited content from their service once notified by the ACMA of the existence of the content.
