Each state and territory has its own Sale of Goods Act to cover contracts where a seller transfers, or agrees to transfer, their right of ownership in goods to a buyer for a money consideration called the price. This Act codifies the common law as well as amending it. Legislation, Standards and Codes may be linked to one or more of the University's compliance frameworks either as the driver of the requirements, or as a component of the framework.
