Under section 123 of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992, industry groups have developed codes of practice in consultation with the Australian Communication and Media Authority (ACMA). Once implemented, the ACMA monitors these codes and deals with unresolved complaints made under them. Legislation, Standards and Codes may be linked to one or more of the University's compliance frameworks either as the driver of the requirements, or as a component of the framework.
