Overview
This Act's primary function is to give legal force to the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code (the Agvet Code), which is set out in the Schedule to this Act. The Agvet Code contains the detailed regulatory scheme for all agricultural and veterinary (agvet) chemical products in Australia. All substantive obligations and penalties are found within the Code.
