Universities Accord (National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-based Violence) Act 2025 (Cth) - Level 1

An Act to provide for a national higher education code to prevent and respond to gender-based violence, and for related purposes. The objects of this Act are:
(a) to reduce the incidence of gender-based violence in higher education; and
(b) to establish national standards and requirements for higher education providers to prevent and respond to gender-based violence; and
(c) to establish a regulatory framework to monitor and enforce compliance with the national standards and requirements.

Relevant Compliance Frameworks

Legislation, Standards and Codes may be linked to one or more of the University's compliance frameworks either as the driver of the requirements, or as a component of the framework.
