This regulation is made under the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002. This Regulation repeals and replaces the Health Records and Information Privacy Regulation 2012. This regulation defines “health service”, provides guidance regarding the use or disclosure of health information"relating to chaplaincy services, Health Practitioner Regulation National Law and organ donor registers. It outlines exemption for My Health Record system and for certain health records linkage systems, and that c certain public sector agencies to be treated as a single agency.
