- Telecommunications (SMS Sender ID Register) Industry Standard 2025 (Cth) - Level 3The Telecommunications (SMS Sender ID Register) Industry Standard 2025 is a mandatory Australian regulatory framework designed to combat spoofing scams. It requires telcos and businesses to register alphanumeric brand names. Unregistered sender IDs appearing on consumer phones will be automatically replaced with the label 'Unverified'.
