- Land Tax Act 1956 (NSW) - Level 2An Act to impose a land tax upon the taxable values of certain lands; and for purposes connected therewith. Note: Non-profit organisations, including, charitable or educational institutions, unions and associations that are not-for-profit and trustees of non-profit organisations, which own land in New South Wales, may be entitled to an exemption from land tax.
- Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Act 2002 (NSW) - Level 5An Act to consolidate and restate the law relating to police and other law enforcement officers' powers and responsibilities; to set out the safeguards applicable in respect of persons being investigated for offences; to repeal certain Acts and to consequentially amend other Acts; and for other purposes. Under Section 9 - Power to enter in emergencies, police may enter premises if they believe on reasonable grounds that a breach of the peace is being or is likely to be committed and it is necessary to enter immediately to end or prevent this. Police are also empowered to enter to prevent significant physical injury to a person. Police are empowered to remain on the premises only as long as reasonably necessary in the circumstances.
- Library Act 1939 (NSW) - Level 5An Act to make further provision for the establishment, maintenance and management of libraries, library services and information services; to amend the Local Government Act 1919 and certain other Acts; and for purposes connected therewith.
- Limitation Act 1969 (NSW) - Level 5An Act to amend and consolidate the law relating to the limitation of actions in civil matters in NSW, such as personal injury, consumer claims, and discrimination and unfair dissmissal.
- Liquor Act 2007 (NSW) - Level 3An Act to regulate and control the sale and supply of liquor and the use of premises on which liquor is sold or supplied and for other purposes.
- Liquor Regulation 2018 (NSW) - Level 3Regulation relating to Liquor Act 2007. Regulation provides guidance on application and fees for licences as well as advertising requirements, community impact statements and other application related requirements.
- Local Government Act 1993 (NSW) - Level 5An Act to provide for local government in New South Wales. The University is exempt from rates under s556.
- Local Land Services Act 2013 (NSW) - Level 4The objects of this Act are to:
1. establish Local Land Services (a statutory corporation) with responsibility for management and delivery of local land services in the social, economic and environmental interests of the State in accordance with any State priorities for local land services,
2. establish a governance framework to provide for the proper and efficient management and delivery of local land services,
3. establish local boards for the purpose of devolving operational management and planning functions to regional levels to facilitate targeted local delivery of programs and services to meet community, client and customer needs,
4. require decisions taken at a regional level to take account of State priorities for local land services,
5. ensure the proper management of natural resources in the social, economic and environmental interests of the State,
6. apply sound scientific knowledge to achieve a fully functioning and productive landscape,
7. encourage collaboration and shared responsibility by involving communities, industries and non-government organisations in making the best use of local knowledge and expertise in relation to the provision of local land services,
8. establish mechanisms for the charging of rates, levies and contributions on landholders and fees for services,
9. provide a framework for financial assistance and incentives to landholders, including, but not limited to, incentives that promote land and biodiversity conservation.
- Long Service Leave Act 1955 (NSW) - Level 4An Act to make provisions entitling workers to long service leave. Employees are eligible to take long service leave after 10 years service and thereafter after each 5 year's service. The University has obligations to comply with provisions in this Act due to its status as an employer.
